What does a mobile mechanic do?

I come to your vehicle where it's safely parked and handle diagnosis and many repairs on the spot — starting and charging issues, warning lights, electrical concerns, drivability problems, and common repairs when access and conditions allow. The focus is testing to find the real problem before replacing anything.

Can every problem be repaired on site?

Accepted Answer

No. Mobile doesn't mean every repair is roadside-ready. Safe access, weather, location, complexity, fluid containment, equipment and clearance all matter. Jobs needing a lift, alignment rack, heavy fabrication or controlled shop conditions may require a properly equipped shop — and I'll tell you when that's the case.

Do you serve all of New Mexico?

No. I'm based in Albuquerque and primarily serve Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, the North Valley, South Valley, Corrales and nearby areas by request. Availability depends on distance, schedule, your location and the type of service. Call or text to check your spot.

Can one symptom tell you exactly what's wrong?

No. A symptom narrows the possibilities but doesn't confirm a failed component. That's the whole idea behind 'diagnosis before parts.' Confirmed means confirmed by hands-on testing — never by a symptom or a trouble code alone.

What should I do if I smell fuel or see smoke?

Accepted Answer

Treat it as a safety situation first. Don't start or drive the vehicle. For fuel, avoid any sparks or flames nearby. For smoke or possible fire, move away and call for emergency help if needed. Once you're safe, reach out and we'll figure out the next step.

Does submitting a request book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

No. Submitting sends your request to me for review — it does not create an appointment until I confirm it with you. I personally review each request and follow up to arrange scheduling.

Question 7

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

$50 per started labor hour, with a $50 minimum. Drive time to your vehicle is included in the first hour, and one minute into another hour begins the next $50 hour. Parts are separate. There are no trip, diagnostic, mileage or after-hours fees.

Are you ASE certified?

No. I'm not ASE certified and never completed that process. My experience comes from decades of hands-on, real-world diagnosis and repair.
